8 class series begins Sept 21, ends Nov 9 | Thursdays | 6:00-7:30pm | Adult | Timna Kligler. This class series will build and develop physical conversations around big juicy moves, improvisational decision-making, and cultivating tenderness and wildness. This is a place to sweat, spiral, fall, make decisions and change our minds, break down 'technique' and then break away from it, and most of all ask questions and more questions. SummerDance: Performance Week culminates outdoors at a public outdoor performance at Opus 40. All SummerDancers take the skills they learned during the previous week and bring their dance to life at Opus 40 with a site specific piece choreographed by Livia Vanaver and guest artist, Marina Lopez.

• Wednesday - Friday of this week will be held at Opus 40 in Saugerties to rehearse the site specific choreography of the space. Exact rehearsal times & details TBD. Opus 40 Performance will take place on the evening of Friday August 11th

This is a special site specific workshop held at Opus 40 in Saugherties, NY. Renowned dancer, choreographer, Sandy Silva, will be co-creating REVERENCE - dance and music experience with Livia Vanaver, Gabriel Vanaver, and Ev Mann. The final production will be performed in the evening of August 12th on the historic grounds of the Opus 40 sculpture. Workshop participants play a role in the final performance. Dancers, singers, & musicians are encouraged to attend this once-in-a-lifetime choreography workshop.

Wednesdays | 5:45 PM - 7:15 PM | 90 MIN | Age 13-18 | A safe space for teens to hone their modern dance technique, stay strong, stay connected, and get creative. This class is an outlet for teenage students to express their feelings through movement while inspiring and uplifting one another. Isa will teach her wonderful style of modern technique and grant the dancers a space of their own. There will also be special guests teaching a variety of techniques and styles to compliment the dancers’ repertoire. REGISTER NOW.

Wednesdays | 4:00 PM - 5:30PM | 90 MIN | Ages 10-12 | This class combine TVC's three signature styles: fusing World Dance, Percussive Dance, and Modern Dance. Livia teaches rhythm and movement through an innovative exploration of dance styles such as Appalachian clogging, tap dance, step dance, stomp dance, and body percussion.
