SUMMERDANCE 2024
July 29-Aug 2 & Aug 5-9 - Ages 9-18
SummerDance is an immersive dance program. Students will experience masterclasses with renowned faculty, and get the chance to detox from technology, explore the Hudson Valley, and bond with an amazing community. SummerDance welcomes students of every level and ability, meeting each dancer as they are and nurturing personal growth, technique, and joy.

Program Cost: $400 - One Week | $775 - Both Weeks
IMMERSION WEEK
SummerDance: Immersion Week is dedicated to the pure joy and community connection created by The Vanaver Caravan’s dance & music program. Whether you are looking to improve your dance technique, relieve stress, or get inspired to choreograph, strum, or sing--Immersion Week provides a full introduction to a myriad of dance and music styles from a stellar group of teachers. Students learn Afro-Caribbean Soca, Swing Dance, Percussive, Flamenco, Modern Dance, Meditation, theatre, music, and more!
PERFORMANCE WEEK
SummerDance: Performance Week culminates at a public performance at the Rosendale Theatre on the evening of August 9th. All Summer-Dancers take the skills they learned during the previous week and bring their dance to life, choreographed by the SummerDance Faculty.
Performance week builds up the previous week. Students expand their knowledge in Afro-Caribbean Soca, Swing Dance, Percussive, Flamenco, Modern Dance, Meditation, theatre, music, and more!

We are thrilled to be hosting SummerDance at Lifebridge! Nestled in Rosendale, this state-of-the-arts retreat center features two studios, indoor plumbing, pavilions, hiking trails, and housing for out of town students and faculty.

Refunds
The full tuition amount may be refunded until April 5th, less a 25% administrative fee. A tuition refund of 50% will be given until May 25th. No refunds will be issued after May 25th. The Vanaver Caravan will donate the tuition balance to the Betsey Bergman Memorial scholarship fund.
