Anna Librada Georges
Anna Librada Georges joined The Vanaver Caravan Dance Company as its youngest member at the age of fourteen. She holds a degree in Dance and Arts Management from Emerson College and has extensively taught movement and dance across the United States and internationally, including Spain, Italy, and Japan.
In 2003, Anna moved to Granada, Spain, to immerse herself fully in the study of flamenco dance. Living in the Sacromonte district, she experienced flamenco as both a culture and an art form. In 2007, she relocated to Sevilla, Spain, to continue her studies with notable flamenco masters such as Isabel Bayon, Manuel Betanzo, and Andres Marin. Anna has developed a unique percussive dance technique influenced by her studies with percussive masters and her diverse dance background.
Currently, Anna serves as a guest artist with Artists Alliance Against Violence Inc. She is also the founder and producer of the annual Hudson Valley Flamenco Festival and the Artistic Director of Flamenco Librada, which brings together artists with duende through flamenco and contemporary dance. Additionally, Anna is a certified yoga instructor and holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from Yeshiva University.
